At the GrindindHub 2022 we will convince you with precision and quality for highest manufacturing standards. As a premium supplier of grinding machines, controls, drives and spindles, we will show you the advantages that over 100 years of manufacturing internal and external grinders have given us. We are looking forward to seeing you.
With a width of just 2.5m and its cross-slide design, the GP25Wx65 is a master in combining minimum floor space and maximum workspace. With this machine you can grind workpieces up to 200mm in diameter with a centre distance of up to 650mm. The hydrodynamic spindle, specially developed by Okuma, impresses with a run-out accuracy of 0.01µm at a grinding speed of up to 120m/s. To achieve the highest productivity, grinding wheels with a diameter of 510mm can be used up to a width of 150mm.
Do you need high accuracy and still need to remain flexible? With our NC tailstock, freely programmable positions can be approached in a range of up to 170mm, and a Marposs in-process gauge mounted on its own NC axis, you can change from one product to another in the shortest possible time without having to sacrifice high accuracy.
Highest precision in the smallest of spaces, with a total footprint of less than 7.5m², the Okuma GI-20NII internal grinding machine can fit into any production hall. With its solid cast iron bed, 5-sided hydrostatic guideways and original Okuma drives and spindles, it achieves enormous precision. In order to maintain dimensional accuracy throughout the entire production cycle, the machine is equipped with Okuma's innovative Thermo-Friendly Concept, which detects and compensates for heat build-up through temperature sensors installed in the machine. Tolerances in the lower µm range are no challenge for this machine.
In order to offer you maximum flexibility, the GI-20NII is available with one, two or even four grinding spindles at the same time. Furthermore, directly driven high-frequency spindles with 6 different power and speed ranges are available. Starting with a 7.5kW spindle, which stands out with a maximum speed of 15,000 rpm and with additional axial bearings, up to a high speed spindle with a speed of up to 150,000 rpm at a power of 0.4kW. No matter whether automotive, aerospace or general engineering - the GI- 20NII excels in every area with its productivity in medium and large series.
